Sinade’s Springspiration

Name: Sinade Prosser

Store/position: Solihull, Creative and Buying Manager

I’m a fan of: Chlobo, Alex and Ani and Thomas Sabo

My trend is: The Botanical World (do the quiz to find your trend)

On my summer wish list: I loved Cinderella B last year and can’t wait for its return this year at our Garden Parties.  I’ve got my eye on one of the Charmology necklaces (with the feather and hummingbird) – it’s going to look great with my new Alex and Ani additions, as well as the tropical botanical prints on the high street this year (I love this jumpsuit from New Look).

Hot tip: The Alex and Ani, Pursuit of Persephone collection is gorgeous! The enamel mixed with shiny metal makes them look completely different to what we’ve had before.  Each flower represents a different month of the year and has a lovely meaning. So why not embrace the botanical trend and ditch the birthstones this summer and give the gift of flowers that will last forever, unique to them.  Mine is the Gladiolus flower, for August, hint hint!

Dream destination: I’ve not got a summer holiday booked in yet, but I have just been to see the beautiful Tulips in Amsterdam’s, Keukenhof park. The park had over 7million flowers in bloom each year, with gorgeous gardens to meander around as well as a boat trip around the tulip fields. This year it is celebrating Vincent Van Gogh’s 125th Anniversary, the clever gardeners at the park have recreated his self-portrait made up of thousands of tulips and grape hyacinths.  Don’t forget the park is only open for a couple of months each year (March-May), while the flowers are in bloom, so if it’s something that tempts you, make a note to do it next year!sinade-flowers-botanicals
