This year’s fabulous Garden Party at Mallory Court was a huge success! We all had a lovely time getting to know each other, chatting to designers, drinking Pimm’s, and of course, enjoying some beautiful jewellery from our favourite designers!
After a welcoming Pimm’s and a chance to browse the collections of jewellery, we all gathered on the wonderful terrace of Mallory Court to hear Jo Stroud talk about what grabs her attention when looking for new collections, as she also introduced the designers and collections at the event. fabulous loves jewellery that is exciting, diverse, highly wearable and well-made.There surely isn’t a more fun way to shop for jewellery than at a serene location in the countryside, all dressed up and drinking Pimm’s!
We were delighted to see so many of our friends and valued customers join us on this special occasion – we look forward to it all year! A definite highlight of the day is the three course lunch in the Michelin-starred Dining Room of Mallory Court, where exquisite food and buzzing conversation make for a wonderful atmosphere. Simon Haigh again did us proud, with Gazpacho, Fillet of Bream and a wonderful Macaroon and Strawberry Ice Cream Dessert – all accompanied by local English Rose wine from the Welcombe Hills. We also took over the Private Dining Room, as we had a full house again, with over 60 guests!
And last but not least, there was plenty of time to admire and buy your favourite pieces of jewellery from our best-selling designers. This year we were especially pleased to introduce two new designers, Chan Luu over the waters from LA, and we’re already in love with her famous wrap bracelets! The Garden Party also saw the launch of creative British designer Sam Ubhi, who you’ll be able to find on our website very soon. We also had a sneak peak of the forthcoming collections from our established designers, such as Azuni, Lola Rose and Dower and Hall.
