The big news from our shop in Leamington Spa this week is that our annual Garden Party, held at Mallory Court Hotel, just outside of the town, is now completely sold out. We’d love to be able to take more bookings, but we’ve filled the dining room down to the very last seat.
The annual Garden Party is always such fun, with many of our designers joining us for lunch on the day to talk about their collections and what inspires them. Over the last 3 years we’ve been joined by Linda MacDonald, Ashley Sinclair Marshall of Azuni and Dan Dower of Dower and Hall.
We’re hoping for a gorgeous sunny day like last year – keep your fingers crossed for us!
We absolutley love these new rings from Swatch and are thrilled they have been designed in 7 different colours! Choose from Pink, White, Black, Blue, Green, Orange or Purple, and match your ring to your outfit.
We’ve always been fans of the quirky jewellery from Swatch Bijoux, and their rings have always been stunners. The original Love Explosion design, which is still available today, has an explosion of red hearts, with the inscription ‘I Love You’ on the inside of the band. It’s great to see the design has developed now to an array of colourful rings!
You’ll be seeing lots of these rings featured in the press – they’ve already been featured in Cosmopolitan, Glamour and the Mail on Sundays’ You Magazine.
We returned from our Pandora Training Course today having learned all about the history of the company and the upcoming new collection, including new beads – so we are feeling like Pandora experts in the making!
Held in Birmingham, Pandora UK set up a training day for their retailers to give us a greater insight into the world of Pandora, and being one of our best selling brands here at fabulous, we were thrilled to be invited. Learning about Pandora really is fascinating, we’ve now seen how the different types of beads are made, and just how much work really does go into making just one murano glass bead. Pandora really do strive for perfection in their work, and it’s for this reason that we at fabulous, absolutely champion them.
We’ve taken away many gems of knowledge with us, and have even seen a sneak preview of the brand new beads, due to launch later this month. Check back soon for news on their arrival. Or, why not watch an exclusive video to see how the beads are made yourself!
If you were born in April, then lucky you – your birthstone is Diamond! What a fab excuse to have plenty of diamonds in your jewellery box … But remember, diamonds don’t have to be clear in colour, you’ll find pink, yellow and red diamonds amongst many others. But all girls love a classic diamond, don’t they?
Diamonds are the hardest material known to man, and come from the Greek word ‘adamas’, meaning unconquerable and indestructible’, which is why they have become the symbol of commitment and fidelity and typically used in engagement rings. So, if you’re born in April, get hinting for some fabulous diamonds, after all, a girl’s got to have jewellery to represent her birthstone!
